pai gow poker game resource page. Pai Gow Poker is played with a regular deck of 52 cards plus one Joker. The Joker can be used only as an Ace, or to fill out a straight, flush or straight
flush. Each player will receive seven cards. You then arrange your cards into two hands (one of five cards and one of two cards), using traditional poker rankings. .The five-card hand must rank higher than the two-card hand. For example, if your two-card hand is a pair of fives, the five-card hand must contain at least a pair of sixes or
better. The object of the game is for both of your hands to rank higher than both of the banker's hands. Your cards are compared to the banker's
cards. If both your hands rank higher, you win. Winning bets are paid even money (1 to 1) and a five percent commission is charged on the bet.
